The Darryl Beaton Band is undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts to come out of Australia.

Armed with an arsenal of thought provoking songs and mind blowing musicianship, this band will effortlessly have your head nodding with their unique sounds. With music that speaks profoundly to a universal audience, they take listeners on a journey through soul, latin, jazz and reggae vibes. This band offers a satisfaction guarantee!

The group formed after Darryl united with musical counterparts 'Martinez' in 2005; leading to the 3 eldest Martinez brothers infusing Darryl's music with their unique Australian-Chile flavour.

Born into music as the son of a drummer father and singer mother, Darryl has performed since the age of 5; most affluently on piano, but also as skillful on guitar, drums and bass. This has led him to be one of the few musicians with a truly extensive history in the Australian music industry. He has performed with such notable artists as; Harry Connick Jnr, Chris Isaak, KC & JoJo, Ronny Jordan, Thelma Houston, Teddy Geiger, Jewel, Human Nature, John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Guy Sebastian, Shannon Noll, Deni Hines, Robyn Loau, Paulini, Christine Anu, Amy Pearson and Jade MacRae - most of which he also presided as Musical Director.

His most recent accolades include recording with 5x Grammy Award Winner, Kanye West and Mig Ayesa of Rockstar INXS fame.

Darryl is also a featured artist endorsing YAMAHA products, having recently returned from the Yamaha Digital World Expo in Korea, performing with legendary Japanese master drummer, Kozo Suganuma. Click here to read his article on the Yamaha Australia website.
